Mindset of Thomas Alva Edison

Today we want to highlight one of the greatest inventors in history...Thomas Alva Edison. He developed the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and the light bulb. This is a man who truly had a mindset of success. He was determined to keep going until he found a way to accomplish his goals. He is quoted to have said the following: "I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work." He eventually found the ways that did.

Our First Example of the Power of a Positive Mindset

One of the best ways to illustrate the power of a positive mindset is by giving real life examples. So the next few blogs will do just that, beginning with one tonight. What type of mindset did Usain Bolt have in order to become the fastest man in the world? He is quoted as having said the following, "I told you all I was going to be number 1, and I did just that. " He was obviously determined to win. He most likely had envisioned it many times.

Well, as you know, not everyone can be the fastest runner in the world, but it's not about that...it's about aspiring to be the best we can be. That is what Usain Bolt is doing, and that is how our mindset can benefit us. Stay tuned for more examples of the power of the mind.
